H.C. Progress update over week 1/12/14 - 5/12/14

This week I have taken a lead edit role and created a compartmental cut of our music video, with parts that we still need to finalise.

As a group we collaborated and decided to cut our shots closely to the beat of the track. This gives a fast pace to the narrative and makes the visuals more interesting, hooking in the viewer. I have tried to create a focus on the two main characters in the video, making the lyrics more emotive.
There is an electronic warp beat through the track and in these parts I have made jump cuts, again enhancing the visual effect and anchoring the visuals to the music.
