Group. Reflection of Brighton Footage

REFLECTION OF BRIGHTON FOOTAGE

After the completion of the Brighton Preliminary Task edit, we were able to reflect our work and as a result; move our concept forward. The task was very beneficial to our group as we were able to experiment with particular shots we were interested in, such as the time lapse's as well as slow motion which then speeds up all during the same shot. Furthermore the experience also allowed us to develop ideas for our final music video production, coming to a conclusion that a narrative based production would best suit our track and genre of dance/house.

However although many positives came from the end edit of the Brighton footage, we experienced varies difficulties throughout the day. For example we experimented with equipment such as the track without thinking about what our intentions of the shot were and what we wanted from this, therefore the end result was a poor tracking shot of the sea which didn't work. We also ended up filming randomly due to lack of ideas as to what we wanted, thus for the future reckies will be vital to our success. However we are able to use the trip to Brighton as a learning curve, and not make these mistakes happen twice in order to make our music video to the best of our ability.
