• The song 'I can't wait' conforms to the genre deep house, therefore a stereotypical music video location such as a night time party atmosphere would be most appropriate with regards to the beat of the song. However the emotional lyrics which accompany the track suggests to me that the song should follow a couple throughout the narrative of the urban environment, where the audience would experience a voyeuristic experience.
• The characters within the video would be of a younger generation, due to the conventions of the genre, consisting of young hedonistic adults. The lyrics also suggest to me, a love revolved predominantly around lust, which is often mostly considered to be represented by the younger members of society.
• I visualise the lighting to focus mainly on the couple of the narrative, for example during the house party; both the characters could be enhanced through the room lights focusing of them, in comparison to the other members at the party. Furthermore colour editing could be included to emphasis the importance of the couple compared to their surroundings, which would contribute to allowing the words equal the visuals resulting in an illustrative interpretation.
• The camerawork that would be used would include various establishing shots at the beginning to set the narrative, for example a city skyline. Then numerous close ups would be used in order to portray visual motifs as well as to express the emotions from both the characters with relation to the songs lyrics.
